The UN Sustainable Development Goals
In 2015, the UN launched the 17 Sustainable Development Goals that address the biggest challenges humanity faces today. Achieving these goals is the only path to the better future. Nuclear technologies play a major role in these efforts by providing clean and affordable energy, protecting the environment by reducing CO2 emissions, unlocking access to improved healthcare, education, economic opportunities and ensuring longer and better-quality life
